My wife and 2 kids (7 and 12) stayed at Chris’s place for 2 weeks and it was fantastic. The flat is very clean and well decorated. The stay felt more like a hotel then an Airbnb. The location was great, with food, a nice park nearby, and an easy walk over to the heart of Cambridge. We had a couple of small issues pop up but Chris was very responsive and able to quickly solve them. We would absolutely stay there again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Chris was excellent in communication and meet us upon our arrival. The unit is very modern with everything you need and such a bonus having security parking. The town centre is very close and you can enjoy a lovely walk along the river into the Cambridge. The unit is very quiet with a beautiful view of the river. It was a shame it was raining while we were there as there is a lovely balcony which you can enjoy the view of the river Cam. Supermarkets and restaurants are all in walking distance. This unit is just great for your stay in Cambridge and would highly recommend it.

The apartment is conveniently located in a modern residential area about 10/15 minutes walk from the town centre. It is a very quiet place and what is very important you can park your car in a underground garage. Very well equipped. Very good contact with the host.

Thank you Chris for the wonderful stay at your great property. This place is was perfect for us, 3 large bedrooms. 3 toilets, close to town, and an easy walk to Tescos and the town center. There were maps (thank goodness) left and the property is immaculate. We loved the size and location. I also want to say shower in the ensuite was an awesome shower and the towels are a large bath sheet nice added touch!!

Probably the best Airbnb experience I have had so far. The house was extremely clean and very well equipped. Chris was great with communication and check in was easy and smooth. The 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms made it very comfortable for my family to enjoy our stay. Location is great as you are only a few minutes walk from main shops. I will definitely stay here again as it was perfect.

Great host, lots of amenities in the house to help settle in. Great touch with fast hamper. Good parking and amazing access to the park from the front door. We enjoyed morning trips with kids to the park and picnics in the day between visiting the great sites. City centre and museums max 10 mins away so great location.

"Нас прекрасно встретили и ждали у входа. Апартаменты расположены в очень тихом месте. По утрам просыпались под пение птиц и звон колоколов. Есть все необходимое, чисто , комфортно и просторно. Мы отлично провели время. Мы любим гулять , поэтому ежедневная прогулка по набережной до центра города была для нас в радость. Раз в неделю уборка и смена постельного белья. Если есть время , рекомендую из Кембриджа съездить в город Или. Всего 15 минут на поезде - и незабываемые впечатления от Собора."

We were well received and waited at the entrance. The apartments are located in a very quiet place. In the mornings, they woke up to the singing of birds and the sound of bells. There is everything you need, clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a great time. We love to walk, so a daily walk along the embankment to the city center was a joy for us. Once a week cleaning and linen change. If you have time, I recommend from Cambridge to go to the city of Ely. Just 15 minutes by train - and unforgettable impressions of the Cathedral.

"Fantastic service from the host Chris: We were delayed picking us the car at the airport but Chris was on standby for when we got there with the keys: The house has been renovated to a very high standard: Lovely sitting area with 2 sofas and a dining table and chairs: Modern kitchen with all the appliances that you would expect; including a dish washer Upstairs there is a lovely double bedroom with an en suite shower room: The bathroom is lovely and clean: Big white fluffy towels and hand towels: A nice unexpected find were the shampoos & shower gels like you would find in a posh hotel: 2nd bedroom on the 1st floor with a great family bathroom; again with big towels; hand towels and face cloths: On the top floor there is a huge bedroom in the eaves of the house: Big velux window in the ceiling to give light and fresh air If you are here in the summer there is a nice courtyard/garden with a table and chairs to eat outside: There is a covered parking space available if you need it The location of the house is great: There is an ASAD supermarket within an easy stroll thru the local houses: A Tesco a short drive away: Cambridge is a 20 min walk away where you can look at all the wonderful buildings and go punting down the river Cam: Just over the main road is a shopping centre and there is another in the town centre: Would definitely stay here again."

His house is in excellent condition and can accommodate a big group which is rare to find in such a walking distance to Cambridge city centre. "Our family of 5 stayed in this fantastic property and it was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is within a 15-20 min walk to the centre of Cambridge and is very close to the Grafton centre with it’s shops and cinema. The house is as described and is very much a home from home. It is comfortable, clean and very nicely furnished and everything you need for your use. It was in a quiet area, just off the main Newmarket Road. The car parking space was a bonus and Chris was very efficient during the booking process and meeting us at the property etc. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Cambridge."

"This a really lovely house which easily accommodated us, and the place is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds are so comfortable we didn't want to come home, we all slept so well! The house is located within a ten to fifteen minute walking distance of the centre and there are plenty of local shops if needed. Cambridge is a fabulous place to visit, loads to see and do. "Everything was on a top level. Missing the balcony is a small minus for smokers, but there are huge number of other plusses. You can find completely everything for living and cooking. It seems like it is not an appartment for renting but for real living. Bedroom and bathroom stuff like in a expencive hotel - top quality."

"Stayed here with work colleagues as an alternative to accommodation at a conference we were attending. Great to get away from the intensity of that and have time out in a very comfortable environment. The house is new and modern, all facilities were there with complimentary welcome basket of food and toiletries in bathrooms an added bonus. We were met on arrival by Chris. He was very helpful during the booking process and our stay, responding quickly to one issue with maintenance quickly and effectively. The secure car parking was great. Beds were very comfortable and linen provided was high quality. If I was coming for a leisure weekend to Cambridge with friends I would stay here again."

"Chris's place is even more attractive and functional than it appears on the website. Terrific condiition, clean, smartly laid-out. The location is fine, with Grafton mall nearby, easy walking access to city centre, and some interesting shops/bars/cafes also within walking distance. Chris was quick to respond to all messages, and was tremendously helpful and accommodating when some adjustments to our original schedule needed making. I recommend this and any of Chris's properties without hesitation."

"The location; the balcony; everything you could possible need was there. And it was surprisingly peaceful. I say surprisingly because I expected appartment living to be noisy but it wasn't. And I noticed a sign on the door saying there is a noise polution fine of £500. We were 5 mins from the river. We walked through a grassy area with cows munching away on it. Then reached the path where we came upon a torrent of cyclists and joggers. Took 15 mins to walk to the centre."

"Great apartment in Cambridge with everything you would need, within very easy walking distance of city centre along a very pleasant canal side walk. Chris was very helpful and supportive on arrival and prior to visit. Apartment was excellent and comfortable. Ideal for my stay which was aimed at visiting museums, galleries and historic sites, highlights were IWM Duxford, Fitzwilliam Museum and King's College Chapel. Also a bonus for me finding a few vinyl record shops acquiring several LPs for my collection! Weather was glorious too."

"Excellent house for a large family - children, parents, grandparents, all were very happy. Also great for few 3-4 couples or small families as there are 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms! Great location, 10-15min walk into central Cambridge. Host Chris was very thoughtful and responsive. Complementary breakfast was wonderful! Great stay, highly recommend!"

"This is a lovely, modern flat, with every amenity you could want. It's a little far from the centre of town so taxis will be needed when the weather is wet and cold, but it's a lovely place to come back to. We arrived earlier than the normal check-in time but Chris accommodated our early arrival. I would definitely stay again when visiting Cambridge with family."

"L'appartamento era molto carino, piuttosto grande e molto confortevole. La cucina era rifornita di tutto l'essenziale e anche oltre. La zona davvero molto silenziosa e non troppo lontana dal centro. Il proprietario era molto gentile, ha risposto sempre molto velocemente alle mail e alle nostre richieste. Gli infissi lasciavano passare degli spifferi eccessivi e questo raffreddava l'appartamento, soprattutto il bagno."

The owner was very kind, he always responded very quickly to the emails and our requests. The windows left excessive drafts and this cooled the apartment, especially the bathroom."

"This property is extremely comfortable and Chris is a wonderful host. We stayed here as a family of three, including a 13 year old son, for almost two weeks and could have stayed longer. It was a decent space for a small family and we always enjoyed coming home. The secure car parking space was convenient as my wife and child wanted to have access to a car in order to tour parts of England while I was at work. The local area is just outside of historic Cambridge. It is an area that is in transition; still a little bit of light industry, and slightly shabby (due to construction) along Newmarket road, but a lot of nice residential areas including hotels and student accommodation. We enjoyed walking and cycling around the local area as it has a real-world feel to it. It is quite close to the Cam and you can walk to the station or into Central Cambridge in about 20 minutes. There is a bus stop almost next door. It is also quite close to a Tesco and a large department store complex and we enjoyed visiting these places and nosing around. Chris was very approachable and friendly. We had to juggle things a bit with check in and he was able to help us out. He provided us with some useful information about the area including some touring trips for castles in Suffolk that helped my family enjoy their time very well."

"We rented the Camstay Riverside apartment for 2 weeks (end of March / beginning of April). The apartment was just as advertised. Chris was there to greet us and show us all through the apartment and building. The apartment is very neat and comfortable. The location is great. Right on the river Cam, with short walks to Cambridge town center, as well as a large Tesco, restaurants, pubs, shopping. Chris was very responsive to the few inquiries we had. The building is very secure. There is a large area in the underground car park to store a bike, etc. I would definately recommend staying at Camstay Riverside."

"Chris made us feel very welcome, provided a breakfast basket with juice and milk. House was of a very high standard and for 3 couples having bedrooms with en-suites was perfect. House really clean and had everything you need for cooking a few meals - we managed a full roast with two meats and all the trimmings. Weighing scales only thing not there but we were OK."

"We had a fabulous stay at Chris's flat. It's clean, tidy, great facilities. The rooms are great sizes and the linen is crisp and clean. The welcome instructions were excellent. Chris was kind enough to leave some breakfast cereals & bread and also some milk in the fridge for when we arrived. Chris made sure that he was there to greet us and to show us around the flat. The location is great close to the river and has secure parking, all around we have a fabulous weekend staying here. Would definitely recommend! 3 nights spent here and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Cambridge for a relaxing, pleasant stay in a convenient location."

"A fabulous place to stay for 3 adult couples. Within easy walking distance of everything - station, colleges, Backs, restaurants and cafes. I was celebrating a BIG birthday with two of our party flying in to Stansted Airport (only 50 mins away by car). It was a perfect base and we all enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed including a lovely welcome pack. It was spotlessly clean, warm and in a quiet location. Wifi connection was excellent. Chris met us and even accommodated a slightly later than planned arrival. He was extremely helpful, showing us where everything was. There is a very handy Tescos 5-10 mins walk to purchase everything you need. All in all, a wonderful 3 nights spent here and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Cambridge for a relaxing, pleasant stay in a convenient location."
